Purpose:   
To focus on the growth of Colorado Springs Chapter 356 we will inform prospective new members about our chapter and the benefits of joining.  We will welcome our new members and get them connected with other members and committees, which will enhance their personal growth.  Our desire is to ensure all members are staying as involved as they want to be during the year. 
     
   
Remember -- All chapter members are members
of the Membership Committee!
     
Responsibilities:    
    Meetings:

      Prepare and mail monthly meeting postcards.
      Design and deliver monthly e-mail meeting notices.
      Maintenance of nametags and RSVP list.
      Greeter and sign in assistance.
      “Adopt a Guest” program.
         
    Mentor Program:
      Mentor a new member for the first year of their
        membership.
      Call new member to remind of meetings and make sure they
        have RSVP’d.
      Answer questions they may have about NAWIC.
      Take to lunch when possible; get to know them better.
      Get them involved in a committee or function.
      Do new member introduction at General Membership
        Meetings.
         
    New Members:
      Develop and maintain new member packet.
      Purchase "red rose" for induction.
         
    Prospects:
      Maintain list of prospects.
      Develop, maintain and mail or deliver prospect packets.
      Follow up with phone call and/or email.
      Provide welcome letter and prospect packet (if not
        already furnished) to those attending first meeting with a follow up phone call and/or email.
      Provide guest information to President so she can send
        a personal greeting and a note of thanks for attending.
         
    Retention:
      Maintain list of current members.
      Call to encourage renewal of membership before
        September 30th.
      If not renewing, try to obtain reason and how we can
        improve.
      Maintain report of members attending meetings and
        contact those who have not attended for 2 consecutive months. First year members will be called by their "mentor"
         
    Red Rose Reception:
      Plan and hold a reception breakfast to introduce potential
        new members to NAWIC
      All committee chairs, president and each current member are involved.
